View from the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens
I simply obtained again from a trip on Oahu with household. We spent the week on the seashores on the North Shore, mountain climbing up wild hills, consuming from meals vehicles, taking part in video games and decompressing. We even tried browsing for the primary time. It was a really mellow journey and nice to reconnect with nature and spend some high quality time with those that I really like. Beneath, some snaps from our walks by means of the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens and a protracted hike we took.
I’m a *very* sluggish hiker, and whereas I hike I take pleasure in making frequent stops to take footage, and go “foraging” for colours, shapes and patterns that encourage my design work. (You’ll be able to be taught extra about my ‘foraging’ apply in my ‘Jungalow: Beautify Wild’ ebook 🙂
On this hike, I collected some fallen foliage and issues. After I obtained again to the lodge, I created just a few collages that spotlight the totally different colours, patterns, shapes and textures. The polka-dotted leaves are my favourite! They’re spores on the leaves, that are reproductive buildings (sort of like seeds).
After all, I needed to #facethefoliage whereas I used to be at it…
